  • 24-Hour Cancellation Policy

    At The Music Academy of Austin, we strive to provide the best experience for our students, and we understand that sometimes schedules change unexpectedly. To ensure fairness to all students and our instructors, we have established a 24-Hour Cancellation Policy.

    Policy Details:

    • Cancellation Window: If you need to cancel or reschedule a lesson, please do so at least 24 hours in advance. You will receive a make-up coupon to be used for rescheduling, which can be done seamlessly through our scheduling portal. If you need a refund and will not be able to continue lessons, please contact us directly.

    • Late Cancellations: Cancellations made less than 24 hours before your scheduled lesson will incur a full lesson fee. We are able to offer an alternative virtual lesson, should you be unable to make your lesson in-person at your scheduled time. 

    • No-Shows: If you do not attend your lesson and have not provided prior notice, you will be charged the full lesson fee. Please contact us as soon as possible if you are unable to attend.

  • This policy allows our instructors to manage their time effectively and ensures that other students may fill the available time slots if you are unable to attend. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

  • We have on-site parking spots. On the same side of the street as the school, you will find a garage entrance a few feet up. Make a right as soon as you enter. You will see signs posted for our designated spots on your right hand side.

  • If you are taking Piano, Drums, or Voice, we have everything you need on-site. If you are taking Guitar, Ukulele, or Bass, please bring your instrument. We’ll provide you with practice materials and resources! We will also offer beginner Guitar and Ukulele instruments if you’re starting out and not sure what to purchase.
